Susie Green's Photographs- Greek Gods- persephone- summer
This continued until Zeus finally intervened and ruled that Hades had to return Persephone unless she had, by some word or deed, consented to her abduction. It happened that she had indeed eaten six promegranate seeds at Hades' request, which was adequate to ensure that henceforth she divided her time equally between her husband and her mother, spending six months with each. These times became winter and summer.

This photograph was made the same way as "winter". This was the first finished print I made using paper negatives an I was delighted by the colour changes it produced. I have often used this technique purely to achieve these colours.
