Born in Belfast on April 1st 1972
Moved with parents to Liverpool, then Scotland
Left Britain for Sharjah, in the United Arab Emirates in 1978

Attended the International College of Choueifat, Sharjah for 7 years, where I made friends from all over the world and generally had a pretty good time. Skated, rode horses and swam every day.

In 1985 we moved back to Scotland, to a farm in the Borders, and I finished my schooling at Selkirk high school. I was shy, fat and didn't fit in and I hated it.

At 18 I got a place at Glasgow University to study Astrophysics, and a place at Glasgow School of Art. I decided to go for Art School and discovered that life outside the borders was much more fun.
At the end of second year I chose to specialise in Photography, in the hope that my employment prospects would be better than as a painter. After 3 years of criticism they gave me a First, a pleasant surprise.

Immediatly after graduating I bought a flat and became ill with what turned out to be ME. The next three years are a blurr of fighting for invalidity benefit and being unable to leave the flat without a wheelchair. However I made a slow but steady recovery, and spend my fourth year regaining strenghth and discovering computers

Last year I started a two year course in 2D/3D computer graphics which is going very well. I intend to spend the summer learning C and the next year specialising in computer game graphics.
